1099Q

When entering in the distribution information, I am receiving an error stating that box 1 must equal the sum of box 2 and box 3. Well, it does equal the sum, but I am still getting the error message. I have back out and tried to reenter the information, but I continue to get the same error message, despite there being no error.

You can try deleting the Form 1099-Q as follows and then re-enter it, that may resolve your issue:

1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar while working on your return

2. Choose Tools

3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links

4. Find the Form 1099-Q in the list and delete it

If not, I suggest you clear the cache on your computer and then re-boot it and try again.
