1099nec

My child is in college and received a 1099Nec.  She is in her clinical’s and received tuition reimbursement.  The amount was over $2,500 and she did work a part time job and had an income of about $11,000. I still claim her as a dependent. So how does she file this form? We have entered the wages inSch C but she will now have to pay taxes .?? Is this correct ? How does she report this on turbo tax.

You need to review the questions and change your answers. You need to mark that it was not income as an employee. This will eliminate the sch C and the self-employment taxes.
