My dad requires 24/7 care. He's bedridden and is stable. We've hired private aides/nurses to be with him 24/7. He's 93 and his mind is very sharp. He can no longer walk or stand. The private aides/nurses sign a time sheet and my dad writes a weekly check based on the hours worked. The hours are the same every week.
Does my dad have to prepare a 1099 NEC and give it to each aide/nurse?
