1041 form K1

I'm filing a 1041 for a trust.  Dividend income goes to one beneficiary, and farm income goes to the other beneficiaries.  On the K1, TurboTax is allocating the dividend income to all beneficiaries, and will not let me adjust it.

That is the default. You would have to make an adjustment in forms mode.

Thanks.  TurboTax will not let me make the change in forms.

You might have to do an override and not necessarily directly on the K-1s (i.e., there is likely a worksheet that needs to be adjusted).

Did you try an override? Not sure how the program works in forms mode but you should be able to override figures that aren't calculated.

Thanks.  I am trying, but there doesn't seem to be any way to get TurboTax to allow an override.

You should probably just call Support: 1-800-446-8848

Thank you.  I will give that a try.
