Does it make sense to transfer securities from my IRA to my trust in order to satisfy my current year RMD? I don't need the cash and this way I will continue to receive the dividend income. Other than paying ordinary income tax on the IRA withdrawal/transfer, would this action create any other adverse tax consequences?
