Are you using Windows download or On-line version of the product ?

Using the download version. Foreign tax credit not showing up. It is less than$300.

Anybody know about why foreign tax credits don't show up on a K-1 entry even when less than #300?

Check to see if the foreign tax credit is reported on your return. If you are in Turbo Tax online, go to:

  • Tax tools
  • Tools
  • View tax summary
  • Look on the left navigational pane in your return
  • Select Preview My 1040
  • Scroll down to Schedule 3, Line 1 and see if there's a Foreign Tax entry made on that line.

If you're using Turbo Tax Desktop, go to the Forms section on your return. Look for Schedule 3 to see if the foreign tax was recorded correctly on Line 1.
