Thank you, intuit, for killing off it’s deductible. There is nothing I like better than spending hours entering all
my itemized deductions by hand. I might as well hire somebody to do it for me rather than spend the money on your service with less usefulness and convenience. Hey I have a great idea. Why don’t you take away importing bank documents? Then we can all enter that in manually too! That way, your software can completely suck!
if all you're interested in is importing itemized deductions you can use Quicken (not an Intuit product anymore). it costs but then would you be happy if Intuit started charging for using Its Deductible?
I think you missed my point. I did that. Now I get the pleasure of entering all that information again by hand.
Speaking only for myself, I would be more than happy to pay for continued access to "It's Deductible", either online or via a stand alone program.
BTW are you certain that Quicken data can be imported into TurboTax?
Some users have reported that the IRS did not accept the values generated by ItsDeductible, because they were "general" in nature, and not specific to the locality in which the taxpayer resided.
In addition, ItsDeductible was free, but TT still had to pay its employee to maintain the thousands of values in it.

@rej You can NOT import Quicken or QuickBooks or .txf files to the Turbo Tax Online version any more at all.
You can only directly transfer Quicken into the Turbo Tax Windows Desktop program and not to the Online version. If you need to transfer Quicken to Turbo Tax for Mac or to older Windows tax returns or from an older Quicken version you need to export your Quicken data as a txf file.
