Schedule C Deductions

I'm a substitute teacher. The school sent me a 1099-MISC. I don't directly pay for any expenses, but my parents pay for my gas and tolls for my commute, can I deduct that on my schedule c?

Yes.  You can just consider what your parents pay as a gift to you, and you pay the expenses.  So you can go ahead and deduct those expenses on your Schedule C.
