M1M form - subtractions

TurboTax won't allow me to enter a subtraction for net proceeds from the sale of Series EE bonds on the Minnesota M1M form.  The field on the worksheet doesn't allow any entries.  There are no questions when using EasyStep that address this.  How can I enter this subtraction?

When you entered the 1099-INT, did you enter the amount in the correct box?  You might want to double check that you entered it correctly.  It should be in box 3.

How did you enter it in the Federal program?  If you entered it as Savings Bond interest, it should automatically flow to the M1M.

Thanks for your reply.  I entered it using the 1099 - INT that was provided from the TreasuryDirect.gov website.  How do I enter it as savings bond interest on the Federal return?

That did it!  Box 3 is the right place.  I re-looked at the paperwork/1099-INT that the Treasury provided and it did say Box 3.

Thanks again.
