Importing data from Ameripage in 2025 returns.

Along with the new process for importing data from a financial institution this year, a reCAPTCHA "Prove you're not a robot" feature has been introduced in the Ameripage connection. This morning, I spent over one half hour trying to identify all those motorcycles, crosswalks etc but could not get out!! I had other people try, same result!

I contacted Ameripage but they were unhelpful and recommended I contact TT. I assume there was something wrong with reCAPTCHA,, but what is the recovery in such a case?

The CAPTCHA is definitely coming from signing in with Ameripage.  You could try closing TurboTax, clear your Cache and Cookies, and retry.  It may help to disable your anti-virus programs/VPN or use an incognito window when you retry.

Make sure your broker account allows 'third party access'.

Thank you for the response. Today I got past the check first time!

I hadn't seen this so had not done the check you mention but had downloaded from other accounts from them.

When I was wasting my time yesterday it went through my mind that maybe I didn't need to check on "little bits" eg tops of heads. Today I had one motorcycle with two people on it. You could see bike in every square except for the two heads. That did it.

Whether it was my being less dumb than yesterday or the reCAPTCHA had been in error, I will never know! But I still have two accounts to download!

Thanks again.

I think I just responded to this but may have to take your advice on my last two downloads!
