Form 8812

I'm single with no dependents, yet TurboTax is generating Form 8812 for my return.  It is not relevant.  Should I just delete it?

No, don't delete it. The IRS wants all taxpayers to answer the question, whether you have children or not. Enter zero (0) and continue with the onscreen interview until complete.  This should correct your return.
