error when uploading program no valid sequence could be found for the set up updates

Program stopped working properly giving the above error message.   I have followed all support instructions with the exception of returning the product to the third party vendor (Sam's Club) and repurchasing directly from TurboTax.  I have moved to using the product on my business computer due to the lack of support from TurboTax. (TurboTax 2022 works fine currently on system. TurboTax 2023 will not work on same system but will work on office computer.)

There could be a number of issues causing this.

See the TurboTax Help article Troubleshoot installation and running TurboTax for Windows for guidance on activating your software.

Were you able to solve your issue? Have you called TurboTax Customer service?  Here is a link:  Turbo Tax Customer Service

No resolution and yes I have called Customer Service.  The only advise that was given was that I return the disc and purchase download directly from TurboTax which is more expensive than my 3rd party vendor.

After updating TurboTax Premier 2023 on my desktop, I encountered an error message stating “no valid sequence could be found.”  Despite trying various recommended solutions, none resolved the issue.  I attempted to uninstall the software, but the same error prevented this.  Consequently, I manually deleted the program files and all TurboTax 2023 references in the Windows registry to forcefully uninstall the software.  Upon restarting my computer and reinstalling the software, a new issue emerged.  Although I had previously downloaded a state form, an error message indicated it wasn’t available, and I was stuck in a loop attempting to download the state form.  I found a solution to this problem in a TurboTax Community post titled “State install/e-file update loop: State not installed after installation or TurboTax needs to update prior to e-file”.  After implementing this solution, both issues were resolved, and my TurboTax application is now fully operational."
