energy efficient windows

I had new windows installed in my home.  Where do i find this QMID number turbo tax is asking.  Also I have the price for each window which included window and installation.  Its asking for window cost alone.  How do i do that?

You will need to contact the installer of the windows or where you purchased the windows for the individual window price and the QMID code.

The Qualified Manufacturers ID is a 4 digit number. Sometimes it is listed on the website or a label on the window. Contacting the seller is another method.

The labor to install does not count towards the window price. You may need to request an itemized invoice.
