Editing hsa contribution

Revisit the HSA section and go through the interview again to edit the HSA contribution information.

• Open (continue) your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
• Click My Account (top right of your screen).
• Select Tools.
• In the pop-up window, select Topic Search.
• In the search bar, type hsa.
• In the results box, highlight hsa, then click GO.
• You'll land on Your HSA Summary. Click Edit. 
• Continue through the interview. When you see Here's what we have so far, click Edit next to the HSA entry.
• Again, continue through the interview. When you're returned to Here's what we have so far, click Done.
• Keep answering the questions. Answer Yes to Did you put money into an HSA in 2016? 
• Next you'll see Let's enter your HSA contributions, where you can edit the contribution information. (Click the screenshot below for reference.) When finished, click Continue.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to conclusion. When you're finished, you'll see Your HSA Summary. 

Note: If using the TurboTax CD/Download software, you'll use the Find function (instead of "My Account") to search for the topic.
