When tracking miles, I'm wondering if it's alright to do a block trip (multiple deliveries + travel, stopping for personal travel or breaks) or if you need to split out for delivery and travel, thus creating more entries.

You must split out personal and business mileage.

So how about business miles doing doordash. Do they get split by each delivery or can it be grouped for the whole work day?

On the return there will be only 3 amounts you will enter are 1) the total business miles for the year, 2) total miles driven for the year and how many 3) personal miles. So come up with an annual total for each category.
