Does the refund amount include covid-19 relief?

Your income tax refund does not include the stimulus money.  They are completely separate, and will arrive at separate times.

I don't understand why TurboTax says i'm getting so much back then. My refund is more than the total amount that I made in 2019. I don't know what is too much to share. But I was unemployed for most of the year. I only made just over 7 thousand dollars in taxable income. My refund is almost 8 thousand.

@avengerbailbonds We cannot see your tax return so we cannot explain why your refund is so high.  Have you checked all of the data you entered and made sure it was entered correctly---without misplaced decimals or extra zeros?  It sounds like you have a data entry error somewhere.

 

And....do check these lines on your Form 1040 to see if you received any credits
