Deducting expenses from 1099-MISC

I do contract/freelance work. My 1099-MISC includes my actual salary and expenses combined.  I've separated my expenses from my actual salary and need to know how to deduct these expenses so I'm only paying taxes on my earnings.

You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version.
