Claimed daughters 1099-e

Hello

We claimed our daughter on our taxes as she just graduated college.  I received my own 1099-e form for my loans for her and deducted them. Now doing my daughters own taxes as she made 29,000  she received her own 1099-e form but it says it add it since she was claimed. The amount was only for 207.00. Do i just ignore since it cant be claimed or what do i do with it?

Thank you,

Robert

I assume you mean Form 1098-E for student loan interest. There is no Form 1099-E.

It's not clear what you mean by "it says it add it."

Your daughter cannot claim the student loan interest deduction because you claimed her as a dependent. Therefore she has to ignore the Form 1098-E that she received. She cannot do anything with it.

Yes , sorry my error. I meant 1098. I guess i meant when u tried to add it for her it disallowed it because i claimed her. I didn't know what to do with it. Thank you for your answer!!
