Charitable Contribution default error

In filing my Federal/State return, there is an error message during the Analyzing Review, which states my Charitable Contribution is an unacceptable amount. The software defaults to $300, and as Married filing joint, the Charitable Contribution should be $600. No matter what changes I make to the worksheet, the software defaults to $300 and I'm unable to completely file my E-filing because of this error.  Is there a software fix pending?

Using the TurboTax desktop editions for tax year 2021 -

To remove the error I went into Forms mode and deleted the Charitable Organization Worksheet(s).  Then on the Form 1040 Worksheet for Line 12b removed the $300 amount so Line 12b is now blank (empty).

Going back to Step-by-Step I completed the Deductions & Credits section without entering anything for a charitable donation.  Continuing through the screens until landing on the screen labeled Charitable Cash Contributions under Cares Act, I entered $600.  Continued through Final Review without error.

This appears to be an around-about way to circumvent the issue.  Do you know if TurboTax will be doing a fix to the software?

With all the issues about this particular problem I am sure the TurboTax engineers are aware of this issue.  Do not have a date for when this is going to be fixed.

Thanks for the reply.  I'll wait it out until first of February, then I'll use your method of bypassing the error to complete my taxes.
