1099r same dollar amount on statement error. Cannot E-file IN state tax.

Get message cannot E-file IN return.  Reason 1099R- same dollar amount.

Reason for E-file ineligibility: At least two of three withholding accounts on 1099R statement have same dollar amount.  Turbo tax does not support this information to be filed electronically.  1099R's seem to be imputed correctly.  Is there a solution besides mailing in IN State?

The system thinks that you entered the same 1099 multiple times in error.  It's a safeguard to prevent you from accidentally doing that.

Add a penny to each of the 1099-Rs that you enter.  So enter the first as $1000, the second as $1000.01, the third as $1000.02, etc.  The pennies get rounded off so it won't change your taxes.

Alternatively, you could combine all of the 1099s into one since they are from the same bank.

I have three 1099r's all from different banks.  All have different amounts.  But box 17,18 and 19 are blank on two of the 1099R's.
