1095-A processing will not allow 0.00 values for SLCSP

Using the online tool, I have entered my 1095-A information, which is all 0.00 except for December. The tool says that 0.00 or blank must be corrected to an actual number. Since I only received benefits in December, this is not going to work..

For any month that you had Marketplace insurance and have an amount in column A of Form 1095-A, then the amount in column B can't be zero for purposes of completing your tax return. You must enter the Second Lowest Cost Silver Plan (SLCSP). The SLCSP is the second-lowest priced health insurance plan in the Silver category that was available when you applied for insurance at Healthcare Marketplace.

You can use the Health coverage tax tool to get the SLCSP amount if it is not on your Form 1095-A.

For months you didn't have insurance, you can leave the columns blank.

See this article for more information about the Premium Tax Credit.

TurboTax will automatically fill out Form 8962 once you enter your Form 1095-A.

The values stated on my 1095-A for columns A, B & C for January through November are 0.00.

To fix the problem, I had to remove these 0.00 values... so entered "blanks" for all 33 of these fields.

As you said, I could not have a 0.00 in B or C, even with only 0.00 in Column A as printed on my 1095-A.

Thank you for your help!
