WEC Withholding

I live in WA and work remotely for an employee based in AZ. WA does not have state taxes. When filling out the state tax information for the AZ employer, do I choose WEC or A-4 withoholding?

@user17561777520 , if the work you are doing is performed in WA, then the income from that effort is WA sourced.  Thus there is NIL withholding requirement  for AZ.  Infact generally you would not be an employee but a contractor/self-employed of the entity in AZ   Generally they should be issuing you a 1099-NEC  ( Non-employee compensation ) and nil withholding ( Fed, SECA/FICA, State ).

This is of course unless the entity has a branch-office/presence in WA ( even if it is only you ), in which  case it would still be  WA sourced but the entity can withhold taxes ( FED, FICA, WA).

Does this make sense ?
