Utah form largely blank

I'm using Premier. Filled in my federal info, but it appears that it is not transferring info to my state filing properly. It is showing the state taxes I paid, but nothing about my adjusted gross income or anything else. My return shows $0, which is unusual for me. Any thoughts?

I had the same issue yesterday.  Nothing transferred from the federal return, it wouldn't even select a residency status to recommend (We recommend the following residency status...'blank').  On the TC-40, nothing transferred in, FederalAGI was blank, etc.   (and I tried it on a dummy return with the same result)

I just deleted the state and tried again.  yesterday that didn't do anything, but today it worked.  Everything came over this time, and it is working correctly now.

I am having the same issue.  How do you delete the state and reinstall?

if you are working in Turbo Tax Software and in Windows, you go to file>remove state return>remove.  If you have multiple states, the program will give you the option of removing you state return of your choice.

if you have the MAC version, follow these steps.

  • In the very upper menu next to the apple and TurboTax...FILE
  • Remove xxx State Data
  • Are you sure you want to remove it? Remove

I'm having the same issue. Removing the state return and re entering the info didn't work for me.

Please try this, that seems to have worked for other customers:

  1. Re-start the program before filing section, then go back through the Utah sections.
  2. Download the Utah forms.
  3. Close the program then re-open it

This should fix the E-file problem. It also adjusted the estimated refund amount from 0 to a much higher number where it seems it should be.

The program may have not correctly updated the Utah forms when first downloaded.

I am also in Utah and having the same problem.  Nothing seems to work.  TT needs a patch, software update for Utah.  Super frustrating since such a simple task and can't even enter the agi in the Utah return manually.  Have never had a problem in the past.
