Unable to E-file MA state 2020

e-Filed Federal and state. Federal rejected and State was rejected because Federal was rejected.  Made correction and resent federal yesterday, which was accepted. Went to refile MA state today.   Receive message "E-File requires Federal return".  The Federal return was "checked" - and the prior page states - "The following return has been transmitted" - Federal Return.  I am not able to refile the MA state return.

Having the same problem with filing my MO state tax return.  Did efile for federal and it was rejected.  Made the changes and it was accepted.  Over 2 weeks have elapsed, and I still am unable to efile my state taxes because it says that the federal has to be efile and it was already accepted.  How do we resolve this.  At this point, if I could I would just mail it in.  Need to resolve.

Thanks!  Hopefully they will resolve it.  I would just mail it, but I paid the extra $25 to e-file it.

Me too.  My wife says its a glitch in the program.  I think we are all just making the same mistake.  Intuit is perfect.  That's why they don't need to interact with their customers.

It didn't solve the problem.  At least for me, in CA, refiling because the IRS didn't have the right AGI in 2019.

ME TOO FOR the state of AZ.  Already e-filed FEDERAL and accepted but unable to e-file state.

This problem was resolved with a software update today 3/19/21.  Thank you turbo tax for being responsive and sending out updates and a reminder to resubmit the problem tax return.  THANK YOU!!!
