If the state is asking for documents of my step daughters social sec number and birth certificate and letter from school how do I down load that in turbo taxes? I don't want to be waiting for my tax refund and get a letter from the IRS stating they want me to send in the information. I would like to do provide this information from the start?

You can't obtain those documents from Turbotax, and you can't attach them to a tax return in Turbotax.
If you already filed, and the state is asking for this documentation, mail it to the address specified in the letter you received asking for the documents. If you have not filed yet, and were requested to provide documents when you filed, follow the instructions in the letter you received asking for supporting documents.
