Last 2 digits of my SSN is missing on form CA 540NR, top of pages 2-5. The entire SSN is complete on page 1 and on federal return. I did not add dashes when entering SSN, it was automatic by Turbo Tax. Will this be a problem when I file electronically and be rejected by CA?
Your state return may get rejected by California, due to the incorrect SSN. You can correct and resubmit your return once it's rejected. Please see the information in this TurboTax FAQ here for assistance.
As long as you enter in your Social Security Number completely, you should have no issues completing your electronic filing.
SSN was entered correctly. Again, the last 2 digits do not fit in the boxes on pages 2-5. No problem on federal or a different state. Only problem is CA 540NR. It appears that your font size on this particular California return is too big and the entire SSN will not fit in the boxes on pages 2-5. Please look into this Turbo Tax issue and find a fix. Not happy!
