Printing State Return

I want to file my State Return by mail. Why can't I print it?

To select the "print and mail" option for your state tax return, navigate to the File section.  On the page after the screen showing your charges, you get a screen that is automatically populated to e-file, but which you can change to select "print and mail".

Note that some states now require that the tax return be e-filed.

I click PRINT then PREVIEW PRINT COPY and nothing happens.

Restarted Turbo Tax. Rebooted computer. Other docs in other programs print.  Still will not print.

I finally figured this out after spending most of an evening on the problem.  The TT program seems to want to use the new Acrobat Reader.  Just load the new version, save as a PDF and it prints fine.

If I go to this option and try to click only on state returns, I get a message that says there is an error with my form (the check for errors found none in the program) but it lets me print to a PDF.  Do we always have to print both federal and state? So much paper!
