Pay by Phone broken

For some reason I wasn't able to pay online to file my CA taxes. Turbotax directed me to call a phone number and provide information to the sales rep (TurboTax State Electronic Filing and the serial number $25) and then they were supposed to give me a confirmation code. 

 

I called the number and the person on the other end first wanted me to share my screen with her. That was a big red flag. Does Intuit actually think this is a good idea??? Then they said they couldn't give me any information except  by sending me an email. 

 

Spent 50 minutes waiting for the rep to figure out what to do. Gave up and filed by mail. How disappointing

Sorry you had to file by mail. Here is the best way to reach out to TurboTax Customer care for help getting a State confirmation number.

Thanks for the link to the phone number. Given that I called the number that the app said I should call perhaps you might update the app itself so other customers don't have to suffer in the future
