PA UE

I just ran a check on my PA state taxes, the review is asking for info on form PA UE, its stating that info on my federal tax info is requiring this information. I have no unreimbursed expenses identified on my federal return.

Is this an error in the software?

Where is this link coming from?

I am retired, and have no W2.

Please respond

Thank you

Let's delete this form from your return information as it is not needed.

  1. On the menu bar on the left that shows.

  1. Select Tax Tools
  2. On the drop-down select Tools
  3. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
  4. This will give you all of the forms in your return
  5. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
  6. Select the Form
  7. Click on Delete.

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.

I don't see the menu your screen shot shows. I've had this problem for the last few years. Previously, I was able to go to "Forms", click on UE and click delete, and that took care of it. This year, when I do that, the final review still takes me back to a form UE. The PA state software needs to be corrected.

I did not find the drop down list that was part of the instructions, but I did delete the PA-UE form as instructed, and all seems to be ok.

The interesting part to me is that the form came up in the review of my return, I basically ignored it, and I saved a copy of my returns as a PDF, the PA-UE form was not part of the PDF. So that tells me there is a minor bug in the software, was not a big issue, but a bug nonetheless.
