Oaklahoma state return

We received a royalty payment from the state of Oklahoma. The state of Oklahoma requires us to report royalty payments in excess of $1000.00. Our check was less than the required reporting amount. When we entered the amount into the turbo tax online forms, it now wants us to fill out an additional state tax form for the state of Oklahoma which is not required due to the royalty payment not meeting the $1000.00 threshold. We continued on with filing the rest of our taxes and completed them but it still wanting us to complete the Oklahoma state return. Which again is not needed due to not meeting the threshold. How do we correct this...Thank you...

Correct. Delete the state return. If the program asks again, ignore it. The program can't make you file a return.

Reference: OK state
