Massachusetts schedule X error for 2021

I've been trying to file for about a week now, and at first turbo tax found no errors, gave it a day and my MA state return was rejected for MA_OtherIncome_HOLDRULE_softwareUpdate_R19_TY21. Which upon checking the turbotax software said there was a pending update to Schedule X and to wait until 2/24/22 and then to apply updates.

 

Well the morning of 2/24/22 I started to program and checked for updates, and I installed, updated, and restarted the software for good measure. then went through the state return again, and it found no errors, so I filed again. the afternoon rolls around and my state return gets rejected again, check the email and the software, and its the same issue.

 

at least according to https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_ma_online_individual.html Everything would be working, so what's going on?

Update:   I had not received an update of the Massachusetts forms as discussed with support, but I decided to attempt to resubmit my state taxes again this morning.  It worked, mine were just accepted about 4 hours after I resubmitted them.   It may have been a problem on their server rather than the downloaded form.

 

Even though I didn't get a software update downloaded, I followed their instructions and reopened State and went through it again before resubmitting.  I doubt that makes a difference, but who knows.  Good luck if you try

Same problem here.  I called into support and unfortunately the call got dropped before they could find anything.  He did mention he didn't see anything that indicated the form had any problems, but that we'd have to look at other things.  On hold waiting again.

I just got off the phone with support.  The person I worked with included someone else in the call who relayed that they know of the problem and were working on it.  Although not promised it was hoped that it could be pushed out in another update in the next 24-48 hours.

Stuck in the same circle of hell.

Nothing like getting a notice that your taxes have been REJECTED to add stress and frustration to the tax return process.

Same issue here as well. I called customer support and they saw no issue with Mass Schedule X on their end. I read to him the rejection response I got and he entered the complaint into his system. Not sure what happens next.

Two days later after I resubmitted my MA tax return twice now, I am still being rejected.

Can't get any answers from Turbo Tax as to when this error will be fixed. Very frustrating

to say the least. Should I file a paper tax return?

Honestly that's what I've been thinking, my only worry is if its being rejected from e-file, it may be rejected from paper too.

I am having the same problem. I looked at the Schedule X form TurboTax creates and I compared it with the form on the Mass.Gov website and it looks like the barcodes are different. So, if that is the problem, filing by mail will also get rejected. The form is bad.
