IA 1120s

Iowa 1120 S is still unavailble and Turbo Tax is pushing the date out further and further.  Can I file my completed Federal 1120 S now?  If I do, will Turbo Tax still transfer detail from the Federal return to the State return when it is available? Or do I have to file Federal and State together?

You can absolutely file your federal 1120-S (e-file, in fact) and file your IA 1120-S at a later date.

You may simply have to print and mail your state return, however, but the information should transfer.

The State has not released all the Forms for e-filing.

You can continue to check the availability of the Forms regularly since these dates do change.

You can also file your Form 1120S and file your State return once it is available.
