You can delete it.
Open your return in TurboTax.
It won’t allow me to remove the form because I registered it already. Does that mean I have to file and send tax return to Florida even though I dont owe anything?
You do not want to file a FL return. Once registered, you can't delete the state. When you go through to the end of the program, you will mark it as a paper file and just not mail it.
In addition, you do not want to pay for a return you did not use. You will need to call customer service for help with that. Please use the following link for a customer support number.
I used to live in FL for 19 years. They don't have income taxes in FL. Why is it even an option to add a FL income tax form? That makes no sense.
We have B&B owners and others of that type that need to file the FL return.
The steps must be outdated because there was no selection for delete state.
