You don't. Snap benefits are not taxable and should not be entered into TurboTax.

You don't. SNAP and other welfare payments are non taxable and are not to be reported on a tax return. In particular, they are not "earned income" and cannot qualify you for any of the child based refundable credits.

I filed my taxes with Jackson Hewitt yesterday. The lady told me that I had to enter my food stamp benefits on my tax return. I told her that wasn’t right but she still asked for the information. How do I get this changed?

@Bharris90 - I assume your return was e=file yesterday. You have to file an amended return. You can not do that until your first filing has been processed (you get your refund). Go back to Jackson Hewitt, they will file the amended return for you.
