How do I edit my state tax return

 You can get to your state interview section by selecting State in the black panel on the left. 

1. You will then be taken to a screen titled Status of your state returns.
2. Select Edit to the right of you state to correct your information for your state income tax return.

"black panel on the left?"  Would be nice if you told me how to get to the section with the black panel on the left.

Of course!  Here are the steps to access the black panel on the left.

1. Log back into your TurboTax program.
2. Select a section to continue working on your taxes on the screen titled Hi ...., let's keep working on your taxes.

 

Once you select an area above, you will be able to see the black navigation panel on the left.  You will be able to select State in this section and proceed as instructed in the steps above.
