Georgia E-File

I e-filed 2022 tax returns for two of my daughters on Friday. February 3, 2023. Both Federal were accepted on the same day but only one has received their Georgia acceptance on Saturday, February 4, 2023. As a matter of fact the return that got filed first has not been accepted. It is now Four days and the state return is still pending. What should i do? Thanks.

If you used the TurboTax online editions only one tax return can be filed. If you filed another tax return using the online editions, the first return was overwritten and the first return is gone.

I used the desk top edition and pay $20 per each state return. I done this every year for more than 10 years. I file for my self and 4 other family members.

If the Georgia tax return sent then you have to wait for Georgia Department of Revenue to accept the return.

It may take a few days before the state accepts the return that was filed.
