Form 8879 - using it in TurboTax

I am not a paid Practitioner.  I am preparing this year's taxes for my sister who is in a nursing home. She lives in a different state than I do. How do I accomplish the same thing (getting her authorization to generate a pin for herself while I file e-file with a pin of my own) if I can't use Form 8879?

I would appreciate any help in accomplishing this task.

Thank you,

southieguy

Because TurboTax is a Do-It-Yourself Tax Software, there is no way to include or generate a Form 8879. If you are acting as her representative to help her, you should be her Power of Attorney or File Form 2848 with the IRS. Another option for her is our Full Service option where she would sign the 8879 as her return would be prepared by a paid preparer.
