I have received same error today (3/4/20).

 

Can't find where to enter Agency ID on forms.

I tried e-filing the Louisiana Partnership for another LLC and got the same error message. It looks like a bug that needs correcting. We have until May 15 to find a solution e-filing this return.

I transmitted the Fed return separately with no problem.

 

The LA State return, however,  still did not work when I tried to transmit alone.

It is definitely a bug in the LA SW.

The Federal Return is due 3/15/2020, but the Louisiana Partnership is due 5/15/2020.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, go into forms mode and look at the list on the left. 

Click where there are red exclamations and see if you can find the source of the error. 

I believe the agency ID should be two characters.

Thanks for the suggestion, but there are no red exclamation marks next to any of my LA (or Fed) forms in Turbotax.

 

This is a bug Turbotax needs to fix ASAP.

 

They seem to be ignoring it.

Today I updated TurboTax for Business (it is automatic for me)

There was an update for the Louisiana Partnership Return which game me hope.

 

Software up to date

Then I checked my Federal and State forms and had not Red Exclamation points.

!!!!!

Then I attempted to e-file the return to the State. Again, it was not successful with the same error message. 

 

Again, the e-file failed. So was not a solution.

TurboTax has a BUG AND THE USERS WITHIN LOUISIANA NEED A FIX. PLEASE HELP. ALSO, IT SEEMS THAT TURBOTAX HAS GIVEN US NO WAY TO REPORT A BUG. PERHAPS SOMEONE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY CAN GIVE US A WAY TO COMMUNICATE THIS ISSUE DIRECTLY TO THE CODERS THAT CAN SOLVE THIS ISSUE.

If the update did not fix the issue, please try to uninstall and then reinstall your TurboTax program. If the problem persists, please contact customer service, start by clicking on Contact Us Answering the questions will help to ensure that your call is properly routed.

Hi, tried that, still not working. Same result. I've tried literally everything recommended on this thread.

 

No red !, all updates installed, nothing.

Thank you for your suggestion and steps to e-filing Louisiana Partnership returns for 2019.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the TurboTax Business 2019 from the Intuit site. 

My one question, "Did the new version include the latest version of the Louisiana Partnership software?"

After the installation, the software checked for any updates and declared that it was up to date.

Then the first attempt of several attempts was made to e-file the Louisiana Partnership return. It failed with the same errors all of us are experiencing. 

My next step was to connect with the support link you provided, then I called and one of Intuit's experts called me back. We spent about 1 hour on the phone and I review all the forms looking for any agency double letters that may have been missed described cryptically in the error message we have all seen. My support person got a screenshot of the error message off my screen and elevated the support to the next level. 

She sent a survey which had to be negative because there is no solution to date. 

Hopefully, someone is looking at it on Intuit's end at this time. 

This has cost me much more time than I have available to spend at this time.

I do appreciate, your attempt to help and the support person who attempted to help as well.

Thanks for all your work on this.

I can only imagine the time it took to find the support person and walk them through this.

TT thinks they never make mistakes and don't like to hear from their users who find them.

(I had a prior bad experience with the KY module some years ago.)

Thanks to you we are closer to a solution of this one!

I'm receiving the exact same error code when trying to electronically file federal and Louisiana at the same time. I was able to file the federal return electronically when filing it by itself. I received the same error when attempting to electronically file the Louisiana return. At least we have some time before the Louisiana return is due, but it sure is frustrating to pay so much for something that doesn't work and then doesn't appear to be being addressed by Intuit.

Since the error states "Invalid Agency ID" it makes me think that there is a filing agency ID that would refer to TurboTax that is incorrect in the program in an area which a user cannot see to correct.
