Efile state

Hello -

I just efiled my federal and state return.  My federal was accepted but state rejected because it said i didn't include federal return.  Isn't this automatically sent?  i'm confused if i did something incorrect. I paid the efile charge in TT.

Should i just try again or do something else first?

Thanks!

Some TurboTax Online/Desktop customers may be experiencing a rejection error when trying to e-file their state return when their federal return has already been accepted.  Click the link and you can sign up for an email update when the issue is resolved.  State rejection. Federal return must be submitted

You can file their state tax return now!

This follows an earlier issue today when some customers may have received a rejection notice, “Federal Return Not Valid.” If you experienced a rejection, you can now resubmit the return.

I retried this morning and received another rejection as well.

@MaryK4

Thank you -

Question:  when i'm about to efile state it just states GA Tax individual (not 1040) .  That should include the 1040 correct?  If i choose print, it does include the 1040.  Just confirming it has officiallly been fixed- I just don't want to resend and then have to mail if possible.

Thanks!

Any attachments required with the state return are automatically sent when you e-file.
