Michigan return has been rejected due to "known issue" with TurboTax. I followed the instructions in the email, updated TT, and tried to e-file my state return. TT will not allow me to file my state taxes without also filing my federal taxes but since my federal taxes were accepted (as shown in TT), there isn't any way to file federal with state.

This is a wide spread and annoying problem. Is a mailed state copy the only fix? Shame on TT for ignoring.
