CA Form 568- Apportionment Problem

I am completing Form 568 for a NV LLC that received a K1 from a NV LLC2 doing some business in CA. I am trying to figure out how to allocate only that NV LLC2 CA Source income to the return but for some reason Turbo Tax isn't letting me? It is looking to take the entire NV LLC business income and tax it. Please help someone.

Have you worked through the California state interview? TurboTax will help you complete the California forms, including apportionment.

Look for these pages:

  1. Enter pass-through entity ownership information: sub-form to fill out for the LLC that sent K-1).
  2. Apportionment Formula: choose standard, single-sales formula for simplicity.
  3. Enter Gross Receipts: Enter your total business income on the Gross Receipts line and the income from Schedule K-1 in the last box for "Sales from partnerships..."
The total of those two entries should be the total income for your LLC.
The next page shows your apportionment percentage.

Use your best judgement to answer other questions. TurboTax will let you know if there are issues you need to address in your CA return.
