Something went wrong... Can I still file with the alert active?

I know this question has been asked many times before.  I have tried other browsers, clearing cache and browsing history and have no luck.  Before I go to another software, I do have a question.

Will Turbotax allow me to file if there are still "Needs Review" alerts that have not been cleared?  I know I am inputting the info correctly so I want to go ahead and file.  It is a small item, just a $2,400 1099-NEC.  I am hoping I can still go ahead and file without clearing this alert.

TIA

You cannot file your return electronically if you have errors in your return. What you describe would likely be an error. You can print it out and mail it in, but your TurboTax guarantee is invalid if you have errors in your return. It would be best to find out what the problem is as it may mean your return is not accurate. We may be able to help you if you can clarify what your issue is.

Have you switched to Forms View and taken a look at specifically what is being called out on the problematic form with the red exclamation mark?

Can you tell us what the 1099-NEC is reporting?

Form 1099-NEC (Non-Employee Compensation)  is used for reporting Self-Employment.

Was it entered properly?

Are there any issues involved with this 1099-NEC?

The error may be saying that the 1099-NEC needs to be linked to a Schedule C. If this is the case, you will need to include Schedule C to report this income. Schedule C is needed to compute the Self-Employment tax on this income, but it also allows you to claim expenses you paid to earn this income.
