Married, each with 1099 business

My wife and I are both self-employed designers. Can we file married jointly? Or should we file as two separate businesses?

You should file as Married Filing Jointly and include your two separate businesses with your return. Married Filing Jointly is usually the most advantageous way to file to pay less in taxes.
