How do i put in my 1099 misc for fmla

it is not self employed

Follow these steps:

  1. Open your return to federal wages and income
  2. Scroll down to Other Common Income
  3. Select  1099-MISC
  4. Enter payer's EIN, name and your box 3 income
  5. Continue
  6. Describe - FMLA
  7. Continue
  8. None of these apply
  9. Continue
  10. Select No, not like my main job
  11. Select got it in 2025 ONLY -- selecting any extra boxes will change it to self employment
  12. Select No intent to earn money - this was a benefit, not a job
