Form 1099-MISC for royalty income associated with publishing is entered under Wages & Income >> Schedule C. Please see the steps below.

 

While in your return, type “1099-misc” in the Search box and then select the “Jump to” link. This will take you directly to the section where you can enter your 1099-MISC. Be sure to enter the royalty income in Box 2

 

After you’ve entered the information from your 1099-MISC, we'll ask a series of questions to determine if your 1099-MISC income is from self-employment or is ordinary income.
