Withholding

I retired in Sept 2024 (63 yo) and started pension. I started receiving SS in June 2025. To date I have not had any withholding from either of these sources. My wife retired from her job July 2025 and had Fed taxes withheld.

Ideally would like to find a CPA or tax planner to assist with this moving forward, however,  I am having difficulties locating a local professional. Is this an option with TT Live assist?

While I still have some time, should I change withholding on either or both to avoid potential penalty? I can't seem to find a withholding calculator within TT or on the Intuit page(s) for 2025.

Much appreciated,

While this calculator is for 2024 and doesn’t incorporate all recent tax law changes it will give you an idea of how much to withhold.

BSCH4477,

Thank you for the reply. I did find the 2024 calculator and as you said, doesn't have the new tax details - which is what I was hoping to accomplish at least for this year.

Have a great remainder of your day,
