The program will not allow me to update my SSA-1099 information

Which TurboTax program are you using, Online or Desktop?  If desktop which Operating System, Windows or Mac, and which desktop edition, Deluxe, Premier, Home & Business?

On the Desktop, you can delete the Social Security form and start over.

 

Go to ‌Forms Mode

  1. On the left side 
  2. Scroll down to Social Security
  3. Highlight the form and
  4. On the bottom of the page: [Delete Form]
  5. Now go back to Step by Step
  6. Post the Social Security SSA-1099 as a new form

I am Using Desktop & Windows 11 (Fully updated) and Turbotax Deluxe
