Do not try to enter your SSA1099  or RR1099RB as a W-2.  Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

Can't you enter into box 5?

Are you using the Desktop program?  Some people are having trouble entering into box 5.  See if this helps.

Are you running the TurboTax application as an Administrator?  If not -

Save the tax return.

Close the TurboTax program

Right click on the TurboTax icon on your computer screen

Click on Run as Administrator

Start the TurboTax program and see if the problem persists

Did that. Same thing happened. But then... I accidentally double-clicked the box. And it opened up a small windows that let me fix it. Then the same thing happened with the Part B premium box. Double-clicking fixed that.

Sorry, but I know the difference between W-2 and SSA-1099. Not the problem at all. Thanks anyway.

I found an easy answer on my own.  Put amounts into a Word document and then cut and pasted into TurboTax.  Thanks though.
