Roth IRA's

Why is Turbo Tax pre-filling a dollar amount of Roth contributions before 2025 if I've never made any contributions?  I've only made conversions.  Can I just over-ride the amount and enter zero?

Yes, if you never made any contributions, the Roth IRA screen asking for contributions prior to 2025 should be zero.  The note below the box for entering the amount says to not include earnings, losses or amounts converted from a traditional IRA.  Upcoming screens will ask about the Roth conversions in prior years and you can select the years you made conversions and then enter the conversion amounts for those prior years in the screens that follow.
