RMD

Why does TurboTax say leave blank for an entry on your 2025 taxes RMD amount if its your first year even tho you paid the 2025 amount already.

did you receive the tax document for any action you took in year 2025?

Yes I received a 1099R showing the full amount of my RMD I received for 2025

Any distribution in 2025 must be on your 2025 tax return,

so ignore any TurboTax missive that says otherwise.

Thanks,  I thought it was odd to leave it blank--TT reasoning it wasn't due until April 1 since it was my first year for RMD,
